  • Team Effectiveness with Insights

In the life cycle of any team, significant events occur which have an impact on team motivation and performance. We call these Defining Moments. These are moments which can have a positive or negative effect on the team and might include such things as new leadership, shifting expectations regarding roles, responsibilities or targets, a new team composition, new legislation, changes in political, social or economic climate, or changes in scope of a particular project.

For any team to reach its full potential, it needs to be able to respond to these Defining Moments. Alternatively, team members may simply need to be able to get to know themselves and one another better in order to work together more effectively.

A simple and highly effective tool that enables individual and group understanding is Insights.

    • The Insights Discovery Profile helps the individual to understand themselves at a deep level, including their strengths, weaknesses and impact on others
    • With this insight, participants can develop successful communication strategies to transform relationships (in and outside of work)
    • The process gives the team a common language on which to base interactions and is reported to effect long lasting change, at all levels

    Team members will:

    • Gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their impact on others in the team
    • Gain insight into personal strengths and weaknesses and those of the broader team
    • Be better able to work to each other’s strengths and support where there are weaknesses
    • Understand what is required to fulfil their roles effectively
    • Be able to explore what issues they may have which prevent them from operating at peak and to create development plans for themselves and the team
